Visitor Welcome

The course, built-in 1938, is a classic James Braid parkland course, with tree-lined fairways, well-guarded greens and features a large lake that divides the 1st and 18th fairways.  The course has seen a number of modifications over the years as our course architect and course manager adjust the layout to respond to technological improvements in golf equipment.

We are the only Member’s Club in the area, which means Members are shareholders and have a say in how the Club is run.  The Club is managed by a Board of Directors, which is elected by the membership.

We have a full and varied calendar of golf competitions held throughout the year as well as a schedule of Open Events and we welcome visitors and societies alike with open arms to enjoy our course and facilities.

After golf, you can relax in our clubhouse and enjoy a reflective drink, snack or meal with your golfing partners. We also have a wide and varied social calendar running throughout the year, where you can let your hair down, including tribute nights, themed dining events, celebration dinner dances, and regular quiz nights running throughout the season. Please note that we are a cashless business but welcome most current Debit & Credit cards for payment

We take great pride in the quality of our golf course which provides an enjoyable challenge to suit golfers of all abilities and is known for being a welcoming club.
